what makes us unique
TerraBella is more than just another development on the North Shore. In fact, the partners involved in the project don’t even like the word development. Or neighborhood. Or subdivision. They prefer the word community. Because every detail in the plan for TerraBella has been created with community in mind. And because of this, TerraBella is being created as a Traditional Neighborhood — a concept built on sound principles aimed at creating a better way of life.
Walkability
TerraBella is designed for walking. The streets are designed to yield to pedestrians first and cars second, with a grid system that disperses and slows traffic. And all daily needs are located within a 5-minute walk from any point in the village.
Mixed Use
A mixture of condominiums, town homes, houses and retail spaces create diversity in the village of TerraBella. Residents from various age groups, income levels and cultural backgrounds will all be able to enjoy this lifestyle together.
Structure
TerraBella will be the most populated at its center, with shops, condominiums and town homes, and less populated at the edges, with houses and more space. This structure allows residents to live where they are most comfortable — at the bustling center, or the quiet edges.
Architecture
Timeless design and materials are of the utmost importance to the creators of TerraBella. The architecture will not only complement its environment, but the homes will be built from quality maintainable materials.
Nature Preserve
TerraBella has many unique features, but none more so than the nature preserve. Half of the land TerraBella sits upon will be kept pristine and untouched. Residents will be able to hike among the trees, fish in the creek and canoe down the river. It will be the perfect place to escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
