Boh Bros. Const. Co.

As it celebrates its 100th anniversary, Boh Bros. looks back with pride at the road it has traveled from a small homebuilder in New Orleans to one of the largest multifunctional construction companies in the region. The key to Boh Bros.' success has been a corporate culture of innovation and absolute commitment to quality that has been passed down from its founders through generations of dedicated employees. Its workforce is composed of talented, skilled and competent craftsmen at all levels, with experience and longevity that exceeds that of other companies in the industry. The company continuously employs a workforce of over 1,400 people, over a third of whom have more than six years of experience. This consistency provides the experienced, trained teams necessary to meet the needs of every client.

Randy Meyer, Managing Partner

While pursuing his undergraduate and graduate degrees, Meyer learned the business from the bottom up, primarily focusing on commercial construction. In 1977 Meyer founded his own firm and moved into the residential arena. He completed 12 homes in the Diamondhead Development and several residences on the Mississippi Gulf Coast before moving into St. Tammany, where he has since completed over 1,000 homes and commercial buildings. Meyer has been instrumental in the development of subdivisions including Beau Rivage, Madisonville Woods, Savannah Trace, Mile Branch, Highland Ridge, Timberwood, Willow Bend, Fox Branch, and Barkley Parc. Meyer has served on numerous boards and is active in the community through his positions such as Past President of the St. Tammany Homebuilders Association; past State Director for the Louisiana Homebuilders Association; National Representative to the National Homebuilders Association; past Executive Board of Directors of St. Tammany HBA; past Secretary of St. Tammany HBA; and Executive Board Member for the Alliance for Good Government.

Steve Oubre

A town planner and architect, Oubre has practiced architecture since 1976 and co-founded his own company, Architects Southwest, in 1980. The firm specializes in urbanist development in cultural architecture, and in educational and campus planning. His work throughout the Gulf South has received design recognition at the local, regional, and national levels. His current focus is on urbanist projects in Louisiana (most notably, The Village of River Ranch in Lafayette), Mississippi, Texas and Arkansas. He is popular with groups like The Audubon Society, as well as with developers, because he has shown that development costs can be minimized, and at the same time, an environmentally sensitive product can achieve the quality of life that is extremely attractive to home buyers.

Arendt is a landscape planner, site designer, lecturer and author. He has served in a number of prestigious academic and planning positions and has received honors for his contributions to planning in both North America and Europe.
